Eric Trump Suggests Ellen DeGeneres Is Deep State

Eric Trump suggested on Twitter that comedienne and talk/game show host Ellen DeGeneres is part of the "deep state," ranking right below Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

The deep state is generally defined as a group — a shadow government — ensconced deep in federal agencies or the military secretly manipulating policies against a sitting president, in this case President Donald Trump, Eric's father.

The president hasn't yet accused DeGeneres of being part of the deep state, but most recently said the Justice Department was part of the deep state.

DeGeneres has yet to confirm nor deny her involvement.
