The revolution in the way we read is complete. The sale of E-books has passed that of paperbacks for the first time.

E-book sales in February totaled $90.3 million, up more than three times its figure for a year ago, according to CNNMoney.

The Association of American Publishers (AAP), which published the figures, believes the strong sales were mainly part of a post-Christmas splurge by people who had been given Kindles, Nooks, Kobos or even iPads over the holidays.

“It's a really good snapshot of what's going on," AAP spokesman Andi Sporkin told CNN.
