Organizers put off for a month an annual Colorado Latino Festival — blaming, in part, President Donald Trump's threat of mass deportations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

"Due to poor weather conditions and very real and announced threats of Immigration raids by the White House, the Colorado Latino Festival has taken the hard decision to postpone its event," originally set for June 23 in Boulder, organizers said in a Facebook post, The Hill reported.

"This combination of conditions has created a not-so-ideal scenario for everyone participating. "We want to be sensible to our communities."

By Tuesday, the event had been rescheduled to July 28-Aug. 4, the Facebook page revealed.

Trump made the threat to begin deportations of "millions" undocumented immigrants last week.

Four days later, he announced he would temporarily delay the ICE operation for two weeks. The operation was estimated to have targeted up to 2,000 immigrant families, The Hill reported.
