CNN seems to skirt the edge of legitimate journalism to make President Donald Trump look bad, conservative commentator Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV.
Reagan was on "Newsmax Now" and said Trump has a point when he talks about the fake news media publishing stories that are not true.
"It's just the ongoing story of CNN to do anything and find anything they can to undermine the president of the United States of America," Reagan said. "Even if it's finding a guy on a park bench who might say something negative. That becomes their anonymous source because it plays into their narrative about this president."

Trump unleashed a new attack on CNN this week, saying Wednesday that Carl Bernstein fabricates stories to take shots at Trump. Bernstein, one of the reporters who broke the story about the Watergate Scandal in 1972, wrote a book about the current White House that will be available Sept. 11.
CNN and other media outlets have also come under fire for their extensive use of anonymous sources in reporting about the White House.
"You can believe them or not believe them, but CNN keeps on stepping all over themselves on their anonymous sources," Reagan said. "How many stories have they had to walk back?
"Whether it's ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, they have walked so many stories back this year and have proven the point of fake news that is said by the president of the United States of America."
