CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was reportedly drinking before he crashed his car during a drag race on Memorial Day weekend, according to a new report.

The New York Post's Page Six reports Cuomo struck a parked Mercedes SUV with his 1969 Pontiac Firebird — he was apparently drinking during a party hosted by his wife for Beach Magazine when he saw a friend's 1967 Pontiac LeMans.

Cuomo, according to Page Six sources, then tried to drag race that friend before crashing into another friend's car.

Chris Cuomo, the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, then drove home with his damaged car. The police report, according to Page Six, did not mention a drag race or the fact that Cuomo may have been drinking.

"It was a full-blown drag race," a source told the Post.

A photo from the scene showed a woman holding up her arms standing in front of two cars idling side by side.

"I saw that woman rolling around posing and modeling on the car, and then I realized there were two cars, and they pulled into the street," a witness told Page Six.

"We knew it was him. And then they peeled out and went to where the middle of the train station almost is, and right before that, he lost control, and ran into that Mercedes."

The party and crash took place in Southampton, N.Y.
