Former President Bill Clinton appears to be the best thing going for President Barack Obama’s beleaguered campaign now. So it’s no surprise that plenty of other Democratic candidates want some of his magic too.
The dynamic campaigner has four appearances across the country slated for this week,
Politico reports.
• On Tuesday, he will offer a boost to four Northern California Democratic candidates at a UC Davis rally – Rep. John Garamendi in the 3rd District, Rep. Jerry McNerney in the ninth district, Ami Bera in the 7th District, and Jose Hernandez in the 10th District. All of them are engaged in competitive races, according to the national Democratic and Republican congressional campaign committees.
• On Wednesday, Clinton will stump for Arizona Senate candidate Richard Carmona at a “Get Out the Early Vote” rally in Tempe.
• On Friday, Clinton will star at the Indiana Democratic Party’s get out the vote rally in Indianapolis.
• Also on Friday, Clinton will appear at a rally in support of Democratic House candidate Christie Vilsack in Sioux City, Iowa.
