Chelsea Clinton Gives Birth to Third Child

Chelsea Clinton announced on Twitter Monday the birth of her third child.

Chelsea, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, wrote, "This morning we welcomed our son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky. We are overflowing with love and gratitude and can't wait to introduce him to his big sister and brother."

She and her husband Marc Mezvinsky were married in 2010, according to the New York Daily News. Their other children are 4-year-old Charlotte and 3-year-old Aiden.

Chelsea, 39, revealed in January that she was pregnant.

Hillary Clinton tweeted on Monday regarding the birth, "Sharing some happy news this morning! Bill and I are so thrilled."

Today added that it has been a big year for pregnancies for children of current and former presidents.

Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former President George W. Bush, announced in April that she is pregnant with her third child.

Earlier that month, Eric and Lara Trump, the son and daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, announced they are expecting their second child in August.
