Sarah Palin's daughter Willow has given birth to twins. The 25-year-old announced the news with a photo of her two bundles of joy posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
"Banks and Blaise... we are so in love with you girls," she captioned the image that showed the twins snugly wrapped up in matching pink onesies.
Willow's mother gushed over her two granddaughters on social media. Taking to Instagram, the former Alaska governor shared several photos of the newborns, calling them a "BlessingX2." She further congratulated her daughter and son-in-law Ricky Bailey, excitedly adding "and then there were four" to the caption.
Willow's pregnancy has been well documented on social media. She first revealed that they were expecting twins in May with an image that showed her sonogram. In the caption she wrote of how excited she and Ricky were to welcome "TWO little babies into this world!"
Days before giving birth, Willow shared a selfie showing her massive baby bump. She was 36 weeks pregnant and "so thankful to be able to carry our girls this far." Her mother was quick to comment with her usual enthusiasm.
"Holy love bugs!! I can't wait, little mama!" Palin said.
Willow and Ricky tied the knot in September last year, several months after they got engaged in New York. Willow could only describe their wedding as a dream.
"It was everything we could have imagined on our wedding day and more," Willow wrote of her big day in another post to Instagram. "Thank you to our closest friends and family for coming to celebrate with us! Especially our parents for all their love and support."
