How Zain Khan is Inspiring Others to Reach Great Professional Heights

How Zain Khan is Inspiring Others to Reach Great Professional Heights

Few people the world over can claim they achieved overnight success in their careers. Whether you are self-employed or engaged in a 9–5 job, the process appears to be the same. You get into a profession, go through a learning curve, perfect your skills and then, win. While it doesn’t work like that for everyone, Zain Khan observes that many people will undergo a variation of the process. The good news is, the win lies just ahead of the trouble.

Towards the end of 2021, Khan received one of the most prestigious awards in his profession. A network marketing professional since he was 19, the award came after almost a decade of work. Despite the hardships that the world had gone through in the last two years, Khan had still managed to make huge contributions to his industry. He single-handedly contributed $50M worth of sales for three different companies, which didn’t go unnoticed. Therefore, he was nominated and officially awarded the Million-Dollar Hall of Fame GO-PRO award.

Khan’s awards came after years of hard work. Growing up, Khan knew he had limited opportunities to win in life. Born into an Asian-British middle-class household, he knew he had to work extra hard to make a decent living. When the time to choose a career came, he opted for sports. In his mind, becoming a professional athlete would make him successful within a shorter period than anything else.

The reality was different from what Khan had envisioned. The sports industry was dominated by rampant favoritism and nepotism. There was no place for unknowns without contacts like him. So even though he had a talent that denied him a chance to unleash what he believed was his highest potential, that’s when he turned to network marketing.

Life didn’t magically get easier when Khan switched careers. In fact, the beginning was so rough he almost gave up. When he began networking, he was expected to relate with people who were more mature, professional, and experienced than he was. That was difficult for a 19-year-old who was just starting, and he almost gave up.

Three years later, at barely 22, Khan got married. Now, in addition to running a young business, he was supposed to take care of a family. Khan didn’t know how to shoulder so many responsibilities, and he started feeling like he was carrying the entire world on his shoulders. However, he started investing in education a few months earlier, which grounded him.

Today, everything has turned around for Khan. He is now a well-developed, mature individual who is mentoring hundreds. He didn’t stop learning, and that education has continued to work for him eight years in. Khan has now established himself as a universal leader in his profession, which is one reason he is making it big.

According to Khan, there is no real secret to success. The first thing you need to do is discover what you love doing. He adds, “Have true belief in whatever you are pursuing, then do not get side-tracked... 99% commitment can be just like 0, so whatever it is you enjoy, you will do greatest with.” By giving it all your effort and attention, you’ll either succeed or fail forward, which will still be a win in the end.
