If you look deep down, you’ll discover you know what you truly want to do. We only get one life, so it’s important to make the most of it. Peter Triantos believes everyone has a time when they are meant to fulfill their purpose. It’s just a matter of knowing what your purpose is and recognizing the time when it comes.
There has never been a question in Peter’s mind that he was meant to make an impact in the art world. As a third grader, he knew he would one day become an important artist. This wasn’t a conviction born out of conceit, rather a belief that he would one day play a role in something special. When Peter was 47 years old, he finally had his time when he left his career as a carpenter to pursue his passion for art.
Through art, Peter found his voice. He is able to share his truth with others and inspire a younger generation of artists to begin their journey in the art world, as well. “I believed that I could succeed. I love that there’s not many rules in the art world. Music is kind of structured with chords and notes. But art is much more open and I kind of like that. I don’t really like the rules that much,” says Peter Triantos.
Peter believes in doing what is good for humanity. Even though money can help you do more, it can also burden you in some ways. Being an artist is a little avant-garde. But it’s the way Peter shows the world his authenticity. “Say you were a 14-year-old child, and you were seeing yourself in the future. Would that child be happy with the footsteps you have taken or where you are right now? I feel comfortable in my skin,” says Peter Triantos.
Peter allows the current of life to take him where he’s meant to go. Soon he is looking forward to projects in Dubai, London, and his homeland of Greece. He is also opening a retail space in a Yorkville mall in 2021.
