British Prime Minister David Cameron says he's ready to work with Donald Trump should the presumptive Republican presidential nominee win the White House.
The Independent newspaper reports that Cameron, appearing Friday on the London TV program "Good Morning Britain," pledged to "find a way" to bond with Trump because transatlantic ties are "bigger than the individuals involved."
"Whoever wins that election, I'm sure the British prime minister will have a good relationship with them as we always have done," Cameron said.
The prime minister also said Trump has axed his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States, which he has already called "divisive, stupid and wrong".
Trump will jet to the United Kingdom one day after the historic June 23 European Union referendum to reopen one of his golf courses in Scotland, the newspaper said.
