Trump 2020 Campaign Manager Brad Parscale said Wednesday that Twitter's decision to ban all political advertising was "yet another attempt to silence conservatives" since President Donald Trump had "the most sophisticated online program ever known."

"Twitter just walked away from hundreds of millions of dollars of potential revenue, a very dumb decision for their stockholders," Parscale said in a statement posted on the platform.

"Will Twitter also be stopping ads from biased liberal media outlets who will now run unchecked as they buy obvious political content meant to attack Republicans?

"This is yet another attempt to silence conservatives, since Twitter knows President Trump has the most sophisticated online program ever known," Parscale said.

Saying Wednesday that social media companies gave advertisers an unfair advantage in proliferating highly targeted, misleading messages, Twitter said that it would ban all political ads.

President Trump has personal and official Twitter accounts, opening his personal account in March 2009.

He has tweeted nearly 800 times a day, as of September, and the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives voted to censure him in July for "racist comments" he had tweeted earlier in the month.

Four Republicans supported the measure, while 187 voted against it.
