Americans don't believe the violence in America's cities are the fault of President Donald Trump, his son Donald Jr. said Tuesday. "This notion that Democrat cities that are being destroyed with Democrat mayors, and Democrat governors, and Democrat city councils, run by Democrats and destroyed by Democrats, in some cases for 100 years, is somehow magically Donald Trump's fault is asinine," Trump Jr. said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends."
The real problem is that in "blue states run by liberals," people get arrested when they open their business to feed their families, Trump Jr. complained, "but if you loot someone else's business, no problem. We're okay with it."
He also said there is "acceptance from the left" about what's happening in the United States, but he doesn't think that "law-abiding citizens, people who are working hard to try to live their American dream, I don't think they are buying it...Joe Biden is just the sock puppet for the radical left."
During the Democratic National Convention, "that never-ending, I hate America Zoom call," nobody, 'not one of the hundreds of the people they had speaking there, all Democrat, even mentioned it," he added.
"The day after CNN, (Gov.) Andrew Cuomo, and Don Lemon start saying it's hurting these guys, they've got to do something, that's when Joe (Biden) decides to come out of his basement for a few seconds," said Trump Jr., referring to the Democrat nominee's speech in Pittsburgh Monday.
Meanwhile, he told Fox News that the Trump 2020 campaign is at an unfair advantage because the media has been "acting as an activist" for Biden.
"The media has refused to do their stated job," he said. "They won't report on any of this half a century of terrible votes, terrible decisions, how about (Biden's) health?"
