President Donald Trump took note of a new report that cites a jump in hiring sparked by business confidence in his administration.
The LinkedIn report backs up Trump's tweet and says: "Hiring across the U.S. was 1.4 percent higher in February than in February 2016, and only 1.3 percent lower than January 2017.
"Two months doesn't make a trend, but it seems like the stronger hiring is being driven by elevated business confidence due to the new administration's promises to lower taxes and reduce regulations. It's unclear if this trend is sustainable, or merely a temporary blip on the radar, but we're keeping an eye on it."
And it adds: "On a related note, hiring in Houston is the strongest it has been in over two years."
