In his first tweet Sunday President Trump once again rehashed the 2016 election, accusing former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton of conspiring with her party to defeat her primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
“Hillary Clinton colluded with the Democratic Party in order to beat Crazy Bernie Sanders. Is she allowed to so collude? Unfair to Bernie!” Trump said.
Trump has repeatedly said the Democratic Party cheated Sanders out of the nomination and criticized its use of superdelegates.
Also, Trump in an interview aired Sunday blasted former President Barack Obama once again over Russia's interference, accusing Obama of doing “nothing” before the election.
“Well I just heard today for the first time that Obama knew about Russia a long time before the election, and he did nothing about it. But nobody wants to talk about that,” Trump told “Fox and Friends Weekend.”
“The CIA gave him information on Russia a long time before they even -- before the election. And I hardly see it. It's an amazing thing," Trump continued.
Trump was referring to a much-discussed story in the The Washington Post that revealed that Obama was slow and cautious in responding to Russian election interference.
