Trump Will Meet With Crew of Southwest Airlines Flight

President Donald Trump plans to meet Tuesday with the crew of the Southwest Airlines flight that was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger died when she was partially sucked out of the plane, The Hill is reporting.

The meeting with crew members from Flight 1380 will be at the White House, according to the website.

Passenger Jennifer Riordan died from blunt force trauma when she was partially pulled through a hole in a window next to her seat. Federal Aviation Administration officials said a broken fan blade sparked an engine explosion that shattered the window.

Pilot Tammie Jo Shults has won praise for steering the plan to safety after the engine blew out.
