Trump Vows to Get Back on the Rally Circuit 'Soon'

("The Dan Bongino Show"/Rumble)

Despite stopping short of committing to officially announcing a presidential campaign for 2024, former President Donald Trump said he will get back to holding rallies for Republicans in the near future.

"We will do one soon," Trump told "The Dan Bongino Show" in an interview that aired Wednesday. "They love the rallies.

"We did 56 rallies. We never had an empty slot."

Trump said his busy 2020 presidential election campaign "averaged 25,000 people," and his rally size dwarfed those of ultimate Electoral College winner Joe Biden.

"And they tell you, 'you lost the state,'" Trump told Bongino. "It's not even possible."

Trump pointed to Democrats forcing through election process changes in key battleground states, forced through by Democrat leadership in cities and liberal strangleholds under the guise of COVID-19.

"We had a corrupt election," Trump added. "We had corrupt counters. The counters were more important than the candidate."

Trump vowed to deliver endorsements for MAGA-loving GOP candidates in the 2022 midterms, hailing his "endorsement means victory" and boasting a "128-2" record on his endorsements while and noting the 2 were longshots done "out of loyalty."

As for his future plans to run again, claiming he would run to win a "third time," Trump noted the best time to announce a 2024 presidential run would be after the 2022 midterm elections, no matter how they turn out.

"I could do it sooner, but I think right after the [2022] election would be good, especially if you have a good election," Trump said, before adding even a bad GOP result in 2022 might lift Republican hopes for 2024.

"Now, I'm not sure if you didn't have a good election [in 2022], that would not be good also, if you want to know the truth."
