Donald Trump went on the attack against Hillary Clinton, calling into question whether she has the right temperament for the Oval Office.
In a tweet, the presumptive GOP nominee referenced anecdotes in a new book by former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne about her behavior in the White House during Bill Clinton's presidency,
Politico reported.
But Hillary's camp was quick to answer Trump's comments.
"Gary Byrne joins the ranks of Ed Klein and other 'authors' in this latest in a long line of books attempting to cash in on the election cycle with their nonsense," Politico quoted Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill. "It should be put in the fantasy section of the book store."
Byrne claims in his book that Clinton has a "Jekyll and Hyde" personality -- scaring White House staffers with her explosive — and even physical — outbursts, according to
Page Six.
Byrne portrays Hillary as too "erratic, uncontrollable and occasionally violent" to become President, the Post said.
