President Donald Trump's approval rating among military voters dropped 16 points in the month of May, according to polling analysis in The Wall Street Journal.

Further, Trump's approval rating dropped 12 points among people in the exurbs (222 counties between suburbs and rural areas) and 4 points overall.

The drop reflects May polling vs. surveys done during Trump's first 100 days, the Journal reported.

Trump enjoyed a +7 net approval rating among military voters during polling taken during his first 100 days, which slipped to a -9 net approval in May.

With exurbs voters, Trump went from a +5 at the 100-day point to -7 in May, according to the Journal.

Trump has maintained his support in rural middle America (-1) and the suburbs (+1).
