Conservative pundit Tomi Lahren says Democratic lawmakers boycotting Friday's presidential inauguration are "bitter folks sitting on their sour grapes" because they lost the 2016 election and are having a "crybaby moment."
"So I hear there are some snowflakes, I mean Democrats, planning to boycott the inauguration. Yeah, about 50 or more … Is this really a loss for anyone? I don't think so. I see it as resources saved," Lahren said on her "TheBlaze" show "Tomi," which she posted on Facebook.
"It means more room for great America loving patriots excited to see and experience the inauguration of a man, the president, we elected on Nov. 8th."
Lahren said "tired, out-of-touch politicians" sitting out the swearing-in to protest Trump's criticism of the civil-rights record of Sen. John Lewis of Georgia is a case of "bitter folks sitting on their sour grapes."
She also accused them of living "in a land of unicorn promises — free college, free healthcare and free abortions. Reality has never been their cup of tea."
"Denouncing the incoming president is not a social-justice moment, it's a crybaby moment, and I don't care who you are … Hate Trump, that's fine, but he won, and he won by an electoral landslide," Lahren added.
