Incidents of voter fraud by non-citizens is a "scandal" that ought to "stop the presses," a top White House policy adviser said Sunday.
In an interview with ABC News' "This Week," Stephen Miller defended President Donald Trump's repeated assertions of massive voter fraud, saying it's an issue "we're going to look at seriously and hard."
"I'm prepared to go on any show, anywhere, anytime, and say the president of the United States is correct 100 percent," he added.
"The reality is, we know for a fact, you have massive numbers of non-citizens registered to vote in this country," Miller asserted. "Nobody disputes that."
"That is a scandal," he added. "We should stop the presses. As a country, we should be aghast about the fact that you have people who have no right to vote the in country registered to vote, cancelling out the franchise of lawful citizens of this country. That is the story we should be talking about."
