President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday, onboard Air Force One after leaving Singapore, there "was nothing more" to be accomplished at the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs tweeted Trump said he left early because he would "rather fly during the night and get back [Tuesday] night," and "there was nothing more we could've done. We had the agreement done. The only thing he could have done is gone to the news conference."

Trump's departure time was bumped up significantly after North Korean officials decided to leave shortly after the meeting, according to Bloomberg.
