The Republican National Committee has begun hawking a $5 Hillary Clinton-branded "secret server wiper" on its website in a mocking swipe at the Democratic presidential candidate’s dismissive, joking response to whether she wiped her email server clean before turning it over to the FBI.

"Do you have a secret server you need to wipe clean?" the product description asks. "Having trouble clearing out those pesky Top Secret emails? Well Hillary's got just the thing: the Secret Server Wiper."

The website ad was first reported by The Weekly Standard.

At a testy news conference Tuesday, Clinton was repeatedly asked if the private server she used while serving as secretary of state, and has now turned over to the FBI, was wiped clean. She joked, "Like with a cloth or something?"

"I don't know how it works digitally at all," she added, defending her conduct as legal.

The Weekly Standard quotes unnamed sources from the FBI saying an attempt to wipe the server of its data appears to have been made.

Meanwhile, a top aide of Clinton’s on Wednesday brushed off the email controversy that’s been relentlessly dogging Clinton.

"During her time in New Hampshire and Iowa and doing a lot of town halls, she’s actually never gotten one question about it," Jennifer Palmieri told MSNBC.

"People are asking her about questions that affect her lives."
