One of President Donald Trump's most loyal supporters, Fox News host Sean Hannity, broke with him Thursday over his Twitter tantrum about "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski – saying the attack was not in the president's "best interests."

In remarks on his nationally syndicated show, Hannity said, "I don't think the president should have tweeted it."

Hannity, who stressed he is a "big supporter of the president tweeting," conceded the president's tweet attack gave his critics ammunition against him. But, he said, in his "humble opinion,' the attack was not in Trump's "best interest," he also blasted the media for behaving like "a bunch of crybabies" who could not handle "pushback," CNN Money reported.

"Could we all just act like we are not so outraged all the time?" Hannity asked, adding he believed those behaving as if they were upset are "full of crap."

"This is selective moral outrage," Hannity said. "I don't think anyone is that outraged over what the president said. I think you have feigning outrage."
