Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton would make a fine "deceiver-in-chief," but not such a good commander-in-chief, Republican candidate Scott Walker said Sunday.

Clinton has "all sorts of problems" with it comes to her support of government-mandated healthcare, he said, " Hillary cares more about the ruling class than the middle class and trying to give special breaks to some of her biggest support, erstwhile the rest of us are stuck with it."

When it comes to her private email server, "I don't think Americans can trust her," he said.

The real problem, he said, is that Clinton has put national security at risk.

"Hillary Clinton would a pretty good deceiver-in-chief, but I don't think we can trust her to be the commander-in-chief," he said.

As for his health care plan, which rival Bobby Jindal has criticized as too expensive, Walker pointed to the fact that conservative commentators in The Wall Street Journal and National Review both have said "it's the best plan out there" for giving people freedom of choice and control of their own money.
