Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday the media has fabricated the narrative that Democrats have all the "enthusiasm" to get out and vote, adding that he believes Americans will reelect President Donald Trump.
The conservative radio host was on Fox News and blasted the media's reaction to Trump.
Saying the media "made up" the storyline that says Democrats have all the "enthusiasm," Limbaugh said Americans are tired of shutdowns related to the coronavirus.
"They're tired of watching Democratic governors and mayors shut down their cities and states. What's to say this early voting isn't a bunch of Republicans and Trump supporters showing up to get it out of their system?" Limbaugh said.
"I think there is a whole different way of looking at this. It is my way of looking at it and I welcome everybody to join me in my way of looking at this because my way is victory, my way is Trump winning and preserving the American way of life."
Limbaugh said the media has created a narrative that says Democrats turned out in droves to vote for Joe Biden during early voting.
"Everybody thinks it is a bunch of Democrats that hate Trump showing up because they hate the guy and they can't wait to vote against this and that’s what the media has been telling us," he said.
"They are fed up with the way he has been lied about, they are fed up with this Russian conspiracy hoax and this impeachment hoax, they are fed up with the attempts to destroy this country via antifa and Black Lives Matter and they are tired of watching the cities burn."
Limbaugh also discussed his lung cancer battle, saying he is "thrilled" to have survived until Election Day.
"I woke up this morning and I thanked God that I did, and I have had a very, very good fortune with the course of treatment that I've had and I'm just thrilled to be here," he said. "I'm thrilled to be here and to be able to be part of this today. This was an objective."
Limbaugh said last month that his stage 4 lung cancer had progressed.
