White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders expressed concerns Tuesday about bias among special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators in their probe of Russian meddling in last year's election.

"We have seen some reports that have certainly caused great deal of concern," she told reporters. "We hope those are fully looked at and investigated."

Trump has repeatedly slammed the Russia inquiry as a "witch hunt" — and one of his attorneys, Jay Sekulow, beat back reports Tuesday that prosecutors had subpoenaed Deutsche Bank, Germany's largest lender, to obtain financial records of the president and his family.

In addition, another one of Trump's private lawyers, Ty Cobb, predicted Monday the special counsel's investigation would be finished by January — telling Axios there is "just no there there."

"As the president has said, there is no collusion and no obstruction," Sanders told reporters. "And we are confident that the facts will show that."
