A conservative student group at George Washington University believes liberal students are responsible for tearing down hundreds of posters promoting an upcoming visit by former Sen. Rick Santorum, the Washington Examiner reported.

"Locked and Loaded with Rick Santorum," scheduled for Nov. 29, will feature the two-time GOP presidential candidate addressing "the importance of the Second Amendment and debunking liberal gun myths," according to Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) group, which is hosting the event.

But scores of posters tacked up around campus to publicize Santorum's appearance were removed overnight.

According to the Washington Examiner, YAF club member Diego Rebollar, a political science student who interned for Rep. Dana and served as chairman at California Teens for Cruz, said:

"Leftist students tore down every single one of the hundreds of posters which GW YAF put up . . . Liberals always preach about how important it is to be tolerant and open minded.

"The hypocrisy of these students is astounding . . . Instead of acting like fascists, practice the tolerance that you preach!"

There was no independent confirmation liberal were responsible for the vandalism.
