Hillary Clinton is taking aim at President Donald Trump and Republicans over the coronavirus relief package.
Clinton made her comments in a tweet posted Monday.
She wrote: “In the face of crisis, FDR had the New Deal to help suffering Americans. Now @realdonaldtrump, you and your fellow Republicans are pushing the #SelfDeal. See the difference?”
Meanwhile the Trump campaign detailed demands Democrats have made to approve the stimulus funding.
According to the campaign, those demands include: $300 million in funding for public broadcasting, expansive tax credits for solar and wind energy and retirement plans for community newspaper employees.
But negotiators said they have made significant progress toward reaching a bipartisan deal on the sweeping legislation, which could pass the Senate as soon as Tuesday.
