Sen. Rand Paul responded, sort of, to the eye roll that fellow Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham gave during his
11-hour floor speech last week against the renewal of the Patriot Act.
Prior to Paul's appearance Tuesday night on
"The Daily Show," host Jon Stewart showed a video of Paul's speech in which Graham can be seen at the bottom of the screen rolling his eyes.

When Paul, who is running for president, sat down for a one-on-one with Stewart to discuss how many of his fellow Republicans, including Graham, oppose his efforts to stop the renewal of the act, Paul accused them of using "scare tactics" to get him to back down.
"Because if anything happens or anyone dies for any reason in the whole world I'm now responsible for it," Paul said.
Senators also were mad at him for his filibuster-like speech because they wanted to get home to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend, Paul said.
Paul said he has asked combat veterans who have lost limbs what they were fighting for.
"They said the Bill of Rights," Paul said. "So I think it's a disservice to their memory for me to say I'm going to roll my eyes and the Bill of Rights is out of the window because I'm not willing to stay here this weekend and fight for something our Founding Fathers thought important enough to put in the Fourth Amendment."
