Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul made fun of himself – and his rivals in the GOP presidential race – in a series of tweets on New Year's Day highlighting his own resolutions for the coming year.
Some were serious, including fighting for gun rights, auditing the Federal Reserve and term limits. But several took aim at front-runner Donald Trump, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and the media.
He also had a suggested resolution for Cruz, who was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father:
