CONCORD, N.H. — Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman says he won't campaign in Nevada unless the date for its caucus is changed to appease New Hampshire, and he's urging other candidates to do the same.
Huntsman campaign manager Matt David said Thursday that it will boycott the Nevada caucus as long as the state continues to jeopardize New Hampshire's primary date. On Wednesday, New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner said he won't squeeze New Hampshire between Iowa's tentative Jan. 3 date and Nevada's Jan. 14 date, and said he may schedule New Hampshire's primary for the first or second week in December unless Nevada backs up.
Huntsman, who has been pinning all his hopes on New Hampshire, has not made much of an effort in Nevada.
