Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Democrat challenger Jon Ossoff are locked in a tie in advance of the Jan. 5 Senate runoff in Georgia, according to a new poll by InsiderAdvantage/FOX5 Atlanta.
Here are how the poll results, released Tuesday, break down:
- 49% for Perdue.
- 49% for Ossoff.
- 2% undecided.
Former pollster for the Ronald Reagan White House Craig Keshishian, who is part of the InsiderAdvantage team, noted: “Times have changed in Georgia where runoffs for Republicans were considered a lock for them. That is clearly no longer the case.”
The poll, conducted Nov. 16, surveyed 800 people. The margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.
