Just 16 percent of Americans like the way Donald Trump conducts himself as president, while 25 percent have mixed feelings about him, according to the latest poll by the Pew Research Center.
Further, 58 percent say they don't like his conduct.
Here are the highlights from the survey:
- 34 percent of Republicans like the way Trump conducts himself; 46 percent have mixed feelings and 19 percent don't like his conduct.
- 2 percent of Democrats like Trump's conduct as president, 8 percent have mixed feelings and 89 percent don't like the way he conducts himself.
- 45 percent of those polled say they agree with Trump on "almost no issues;" 21 percent say they agree with the president on a few issues; 18 percent say they are in agreement with him on many and 15 percent agree with him on all or nearly all issues.
"The survey finds that most Republicans and Republican leaners favor Trump listening more to members of the party with experience in government," said Pew in a report on the poll results. "Nearly six-in-ten (58 percent) say Trump should listen more to Republicans who have experience working in government …"
The poll, conducted Aug. 15-21, surveyed 1,893 adults.
