Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin seems to follow Mitt Romney around the country, making appearances in major political states just hours after Romney hosts an event. Now, she is following the former Massachusetts governor once again to New Hampshire, according to
The Wall Street Journal’s Washington Wire blog.
When Romney officially announced his candidacy in Stratham, N.H., Palin was only miles away hosting a clambake for tea party supporters. And just one day after Romney visited the Iowa State Fair this month, Palin dropped by the festivities for a surprise appearance.
After Romney announced he had rearranged his Labor Day weekend schedule to be able to attend a Tea Party Express event in New Hampshire, Palin announced she will attend the same event.
Palin supporters do not suspect that she will announce a presidential bid during the weekend. But the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate's insistence on following Romney to major political events proves that she at least intends to remain in the greater political discussion, the Washington Wire blog suggested.
