President Barack Obama is on the fundraising prowl, calling the Republican National Convention "strange and outrageous" in a fundraising email to Democrats, The Washington Times reports.

Obama invoked the 2012 episode with Clint Eastwood talking to a chair, predicting Democrats would see worse this week in Cleveland.

"Given who they're about to nominate for president, a stunt like that could rank pretty low on the list of strange and outrageous incidents we see this week in Cleveland," Obama said in the email.
