Democrats will throw away control of Congress by progressing with their "radical" budget agenda, including with passing President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Friday.

"What the Democrats have now clearly decided is that they are going to go for broke on a radical agenda," Gingrich said on Fox News' "America's Newsroom." "They’re going to do everything they can without any Republicans ... that almost certainly guarantees that Kevin McCarthy is the next speaker and that the Democrats will, in fact once again for the third time, have thrown away control of the Congress."

Gingrich said that this is the third time in recent years Democrats have passed large bills without the help of Republicans, and they ended up losing seats every time.

"Bill Clinton passed a huge tax increase with no Republicans, and in 1994, they lost 54 seats in the House," Gingrich said. "Pelosi and others rammed through bills with no Republicans, and in 2010, they lost 63 seats in the House."

Gingrich also said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is becoming "hysterical" because she's losing control of her speakership.

"I think the Democrats are in deep, deep trouble," said Gingrich. "We're told we can't build a wall to protect America but (they have) a wall against the U.S. Capitol to protect the Capitol from Americans?"

And Pelosi can't figure out a way to deal with her party, particularly with a five-vote margin. "That will break down sometime this spring as members start to say, 'Hey, I can't go back home if I keep voting like a radical.' At that point McCarthy will be the functional leader of the House."
