A Republican member of Congress tweeted his disapproval of President Donald Trump's decision to verbally attack a member of the media Thursday.

Trump posted this Thursday morning regarding MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski:

I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

Rep. Mike Coffman, R-Colo., tweeted this in response:

Several lawmakers have criticized Trump for his Thursday morning tweets. House Speaker Paul Ryan said, "I don't see that as an appropriate comment."

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Trump has the right to defend himself, but noted that he may have gone too far.
