Rep. Mike Coffman, R-Colo., called on President Donald Trump to fire his senior adviser for policy Stephen Miller for the alleged role he played in the policy of separating families who illegally enter the United States from Mexico.
Trump signed an executive order Wednesday that will keep illegal alien families together as the parents are criminally processed for breaking immigration laws. Coffman now wants someone to pay for the situation that left more than 2,000 minors away from their parents in recent weeks.
It has been reported Miller was one of the loudest voices in the West Wing urging Trump to institute a zero tolerance policy in dealing with illegal border crossers, which resulted in parents being processed criminally while their children were taken to separate facilities.
Miller is not the first Trump administration official Coffman has called out. He urged Trump to fire now former VA Secretary David Shulkin earlier this year and ripped Trump's idea of having a military parade march through Washington, D.C.
