Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., who is vying for a Senate seat, blasted her Democratic opponent, Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, claiming she wants to cut Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is in favor of sanctuary cities.
McSally’s comments came during a Friday appearance on television’s "Fox & Friends."
"There is a real choice here for November -- someone like me who served in the military for 26 years, flew in combat 325 hours, commanded men and women in combat, put my life on the line for our freedom and has been working hard to cut your taxes, secure our border, rebuild our military (and) working with President (Donald) Trump or someone who was protesting our troops in a pink tutu after 9/11…
She also claimed Sinema wants to "cut ICE and is for sanctuary cities."
"The contrast is quite clear," she said. "Do you want a protester in a tutu or a patriot in a flight suit?"
In a tweet on Wednesday, Trump endorsed McSally who is trying to fill the seat now held by retiring GOP Sen. Jeff Flake.
Trump called McSally "an extraordinary woman."
