If sanctuary policies continue in California, Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., suggested building a wall between Arizona and the Golden State.
"As we look in Arizona, we often look into the dangers of the southern border… but if these dangerous policies continue out of California, we might need to build a wall between California and Arizona as well, to keep these dangerous criminals out of our state," McSally said during a roundtable sanctuary city discussion at the White House on Tuesday, The Hill reported.
California can't "provide sanctuary for these criminals and think that it's only impacting California dangerously," McSally added.
McSally also took to Twitter on Tuesday:
The Arizona lawmaker announced earlier in 2018 that she would exit her Congress role and run for the open Senate seat to be vacated when Sen. Jeff Flake retires.
