Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., decision to release confidential documents on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is "nothing more than a stunt," Marc Lotter told Newsmax TV on Thursday.
Booker promised to release the documents during Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing, though those documents were cleared for release by the time he made them public.

"This is nothing more than a stunt by Cory Booker to try to set up his 2020 election campaign," the former press secretary to Vice President Mike Pence told Thursday's "America Talks Live."
"I mean, what we've seen in the last three days . . . with the senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee is they're turning this hearing into a circus," which he added "might be a little disrespectful to circuses."
Lotter continued, "this is nothing but grandstanding, trying to appease their base. They know they don't have the votes to stop the nomination of this well-qualified nominee. And I predict that, come the first of October, Justice Kavanaugh will be taking his seat on the United States Supreme Court."
