President Donald Trump on Thursday went after the "corrupt mainstream media" again this week, slamming it for propagating the storyline that he fired former FBI director James Comey over Russia.
Of course, it was the president who linked the Russia probe to Comey's dismissal more than a year ago during an interview with NBC News.
"In fact, when I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story," Trump told Lester Holt on May 11, 2017.
Trump swatted the "fake mainstream media" Tuesday before going after ABC on Wednesday for the double standard it showed in its handling of the Roseanne Barr saga, saying the network never apologized to him for the "horrible statements" it said about him.
