The United States is keeping "a hands-off approach to China" while the Asian country manipulates the markets and more, GOP presidential candidate Lindsey Graham said Tuesday.
"Obama has been weak on China and Russia because he wanted them on the deal with Iran," the South Carolina senator told
Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program.
"China manipulates the currency, which creates a discount for Chinese-made products ... they're building over resource rich waters claimed by neighbors. America is doing nothing about it."

And while not outwardly agreeing with GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has said China is taking over the United States' manufacturing capabilities, Graham accused China of cheating to get ahead in that area.
"They have state-run industries," said Graham. "They manipulate currency to cheat us out of job market share. What you see in China is a poorly run dictatorship on the verge of collapse."
Graham also railed against Trump's call to deport all illegal immigrants and to send children born of illegals in the United States back to their parents' home countries.
"The plan is stupid, illegal," he said. "I'm not that good a lawyer, but if you go in and try American children born here, citizens, and deport them because their parents are illegal, you'll get creamed in court."
