President Donald Trump's economic adviser Larry Kudlow says that "of course" he will return to work at the White House in the coming days after recovering from a heart attack, Politico reports.
Kudlow left Walter Reed Hospital Wednesday, where he was treated after suffering the mild heart attack Monday.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders on Wednesday released a statement saying that "Larry's recovery is going very well.
"The president and the administration are happy Larry is back home and look forward to seeing him back to work soon," Sanders said.
Politico reports that Kudlow, 70, had been worn down by the pace of the White House since taking over for Gary Cohn as director of the National Economic Council.
Kudlow has traveled to China and Canada in recent weeks.
