Karl Rove told Fox News on Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s campaign should stop focusing on Hunter Biden with less than two weeks left before Election Day, saying it’s less “effective” than talking about the issues.
The longtime Republican political consultant told “America’s Newsroom” that “we know about Hunter Biden” and the allegations that have been made against him.
“I don't think in the last 13 days it's as effective to talk about this than it is to talk about how Joe Biden is going to raise your taxes, diminish your savings, slow down the economy, attack our energy independence, raise your utility bill, all the stuff that Trump could spend the time between now and the election talking about,” Rove said.
He added, “The best part of his speech last night was not the attack on Biden. The best part was saying who will you believe about fracking, Joe Biden what he is saying today or what Joe Biden has been saying? Let's go to the videotape. On the screen Biden saying, ‘I will end fracking.’ Very important to western Pennsylvania. Economy matters a lot more than what's going on with Hunter Biden and yet another scandal involving influence peddling on his father's name.”
