Harris PAC Launches $50 Million Ad Buy

By    |   Tuesday, 08 October 2024 11:27 AM EDT

With a month to go before the 2024 presidential election, a super PAC for Vice President Kamala Harris is launching a $50 million ad buy.

The super PAC Future Forward putting its millions in riches forward to appeal to working-class men, a demographic Harris has struggled with, Axios reported Tuesday.

"Trump is fighting for rich guys like himself," says a goateed welder in the ad obtained by Axios, before the screen flashes to a quick shot of Elon Musk. "Kamala is fighting for us."

Future Forward is spending $10 million to run the ad on national TV and $10 million on YouTube, Axios said. The super PAC has already spent more than $100 million, and spending for the campaign is expected to exceed $350 million, Axios reported.

Democrats have spent $93 million on the presidential campaign, compared to $54 million by Republicans, Axios said, citing AdImpact.

Former President Donald Trump's campaign raised $160 million in September and has $283 million cash on hand, while Trump's main super PAC, MAGA Inc. is planning to spend $100 million in the final month, according to The New York Times.

The Harris campaign has yet to release their September fundraising haul, though they have consistently outraised President Joe Biden's campaign since she became the presumptive nominee in July.
