Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., says she is unfazed by President Donald Trump's criticism of her questioning of Attorney General William Barr.

"Listen, let me be very clear about how I think about what is important, and what is before us," she told CNN's "New Day" anchor Alisyn Camerota on Thursday.

"We have a president of the United States whose primary interest, I think, that has been clear as a result of what we know from the Mueller report, his primary interest has been to obstruct justice. My primary interest is to pursue justice. And you can call that whatever name you want, but I think that's what the American people want in a leader."

Trump during an appearance on Fox Business Network on Wednesday said Harris had been "probably very nasty" to Barr.

The president then expanded his comment to include Sens. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. – both were on the Senate Judiciary Committee panel that questioned Barr on his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

"You have three of them running against me, and they're up there ranting and raving like lunatics," Trump said of the three Democratic presidential contenders.
