Former CIA Director Brennan: Trump Tweet Shows 'Paranoia'

John Brennan, a former Central Intelligence Agency director, said Monday that a tweet from President Donald Trump shows "paranoia" and "increased anxiety and panic" about the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Trump in a Monday tweet said that Barack Obama's administration opening an investigation into the Trump campaign was "bigger than Watergate."

Why did the Obama Administration start an investigation into the Trump Campaign (with zero proof of wrongdoing) long before the Election in November? Wanted to discredit so Crooked H would win. Unprecedented. Bigger than Watergate! Plus, Obama did NOTHING about Russian meddling.

Brennan wrote on Twitter:

This tweet is a great example of your paranoia, constant misrepresentation of the facts, and increased anxiety and panic (rightly so) about the Mueller investigation. When will those in Congress and the 30 percent of Americans who still support you realize you are a charlatan?

Brennan has been a frequent Trump critic. On Friday, he called the president "unstable, inept, inexperienced, and also unethical," The Hill reported.
