Newsmax has declared incumbent Rep. Ken Calvert, R-Calif., the winner of California's 41st Congressional District, raised the House GOP majority total to 219.
Former federal prosecutor Will Rollins failed to catch the incumbent in the latest tally, falling less than 8,000 votes short.
Calvert had 51.3% of the vote with 86% of the estimated votes to have been tallied.
The House majority stands at 219-210 with six races still too close to call. Republicans lead in three of them:
- California (five seats): Districts 9, 13, 21, 45, and 47. Republicans lead in Districts 13 and 45.
- Alaska District 1: Republican Nick Begich leads incumbent Rep. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska, in a ranked-choice voting state that would flip a seat to the GOP.
